Le Van Sy’s house where the foundation meeting of Thanh Hoa party committee took place

After the foundation of the Ham Ha party cell, the first party cell in Thanh Hoa province, two more party cells were found in July 1930. These are Thieu Hoa party cell (found on the the 10 ^th July 1930 in Phuc Loc village, Thieu Tien commune) and Tho Xuan party cell (found on the 22 ^nd July 1930, in Yen Truong village, Tho Lap commune). So, to the end of July 1930, there were three party cells in Thanh Hoa province, qualified for the foundation of Thanh Hoa provincial party committee

On the 29 ^th July 1930, the foundation meeting of Thanh Hoa provincial party committee by joining three party cells: Ham Ha (Dong Son), Phuc Loc (Thieu Hoa) and Yen Truong (Tho Xuan), took place at NguyenVan Sy’s house. 11 party members did attend the meeting and Le The Long was elected as secretary.

The foundation of Thanh Hoa provincial party committee is an historical event that marked the important turning-point to the revolutionary movements in Thanh Hoa. Since then, the revolutionary movements in Thanh Hoa closely associated with the leading role of Thanh Hoa provincial party committee, with the nation’s revolutionary movements under the lead of Vietnam Communist party.
