Foudation of Ham Ha communist party cell the first party cell in Thanh Hoa, 25th june 1930

On the 3rd February 1930,
under the direction of Nguyen Ai Quoc, Vietnam Communist Party was found,
marked the very important turning-point to the revolutionary history of Vietnam
and had the effect directly and comprehensively on the patriotic movements and
communist movement in Thanh Hoa
Being assigned by Bac Ky’s regional party
committee, Le Cong Thanh (hometown in Thieu Toan commune, Thieu Hoa district)
former member of Thanh Hoa regional commitee of Vietnam Communist Youth Union, did
take the responsibility for the foundation of Thanh Hoa party commitee.
In the summer of 1930, Le Cong Thanh did directly
assign Nguyen Doan Chap, whose hometown is in Hoang Giang commune, Hoang Hoa
district, teacher in Ha Nam, took part
in revolutionary activities, being admited to Vietnam Communist Party, to go
back Thanh Hoa to promote for the building of communist base there. On the 18th
June 1930, Nguyen Doan Chap got back to Dong Son and made contact with
Ham Ha base, chose, cultivated and admited three people: Le The Long, Le Ba
Tung, Le Oanh Kieu into the Vietnam Communist Party.
On the 25th June 1930, under the chair of Nguyen Doan Chap, the foudation
meeting for Ham Ha Party Cell, the first party cell in Thanh Hoa province, took
place at Le Oanh Kieu’s house (Ham Ha hamlet, now Dong Tien commune, Dong Son
district), Le The Long was elected as Secretary.
